This is our new page where we demonstrate different horsemanship “things” in about two minutes. This month we show you the first ride on Chester our Mule. At this point he has partnered-up, sacked out, ground driven and has been saddled three or four times. I am sure to work both sides of him and even take time out for a prayer. Mount and remount. Keep this up until you are comfortable throwing your leg over him. Check things out good. Wiggle the saddle on the ground and after you get on him. Be prepared to dismount if you need to. Be confident but cautious. |
